Documentary feature by Charlie Williams
Produced by: Eden Films
The Mexican town of Paracho is unique in the world. For generations, the lives and livelihood of its people have been defined by the guitar. Today, this one small town is home to more than four hundred individual craftsmen and fifteen factories producing thousands of guitars a day. Shot during the town's 2006 International Guitar Festival, this is a touching and insightful portrayal of a community striving to preserve its traditions and identity in the face of fierce competition from China and the Far East. Nominated for best documentary feature at the New York City International Film Festival.
